The BMTC will observe Bus Day on Monday to encourage the use of public transport in the City.
Arrangements have been made to extend the operation of more than 1,500 general shift schedules to 22 hours on this day, thereby adding additional trips to accommodate the demand for buses.
Locations
The Bus Day will be observed in the following corridors: Old Airport Road (ITPL), Sarjapur Road, Hosur Road, Bannerghatta Road, Kanakapura Road, Mysore Road, Magadi Road, Tumkur Road, Bellary Road, Thanisandra Road, Hennur Road and Old Madras Road.
