The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) celebrated its silver jubilee on Wednesday by organising ‘Paracomptech-2013,’ a two-day national conference on parallel computing.
“It has been 25 years since the C-DAC was established and it has expanded to nearly 10 locations since then. We thought that the best way to celebrate this occasion was to organise a conference that will showcase and convey the latest that the centre has achieved”, Dr N Sarat Chandra Babu, Executive Director, C-DAC, said.
A number of talks and presentations on various topics such as on parallel computing techniques, hybrid computing, cloud computing were organised to mark the occasion.
