The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths whisked him away to an unknown location upon arriving at the Bengaluru International Airport (BIA).
Chacko, who is wanted in several cases reported from the Hennur, Nandagudi, Sulebele and Kothannur Police station limits is likely to be interrogated on Friday. He was arrested in Kolkata following an attempt by CCB sleuths to nab him at Chennai. Chacko, a PUC drop-out from Mavelikara in Kerala had conned a number of villagers by grabbing their land and not paying them. He is also wanted in tax evasion cases and also for filing false complaints against investors.
Chacko had floated a number of townships under the name ‘Athina’ in Doddagubbi, Bangalore East, Bidarahalli, Byatarayanpura etc.
