This is the second drive in the past two days that the BBMP has undertaken. On Tuesday, the Palike had filed a case against a Telecom company for putting up hoardings without permission. The rounds were made by the BBMP officials along Kasturba Road, M G Road, Cubbon Road, Miller’s Road, Seshadri Road and Nrupathunga Road in the City.
The BBMP filed the case and undertook the drive following an oral instruction from Commissioner Bharath Lal Meena. The seized banners were later handed over to the Palike control room.
