Lawyers protesting, dh photo
Around 1000 city lawyers had gathered near the Mahatma Gandhi statue at MG Road today to demand an action against the cops who took an action during the clash between the lawyers and journalists that took place in 2012.
Nearly 2000 cops rushed to the protest site to take control of the situation.
The lawyers and journalists involved in the clash are facing a trial, but no action has been taken against the cops who were also supposed to face the trail.
The clash between the lawyers and journalists had occurred during the hearing of the Janardhan Reddy case.
