“These colleagues of ours are misleading some students by fabricating stories and the allegation that the cheque released by Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Ltd to a student was siphoned off is totally false,” claimed Dr Rehman and Dr Haseeebunnisa.
They also clarified that the principal’s signature was forged and the cheque was encashed at State Bank of Mysore, Ambedkar Veedhi. A complaint was lodged with the Kamakshipalya police in that regard. The State government was fully aware of the fact, they added.
