The first State-level conference of Raitha-Krishi Karmikara Sangathane is going to be held in Bangalore on Thursday and Friday.
The conference will deliberate upon the burning problems faced by the poor peasants and agricultural labourers of the State. The issues include drought relief works, irrigation projects, subsidy cut on seeds and fertilisers, amendment to APMC Act etc. A large number peasants and farm labourers from across the State will participate in this conference.
The procession will begin from Chikkalalbagh to Bannappa Park on Thursday morning. There will be a delegate session on Friday at the NGO Bhavan, Cubbon Park.
