The contestants for the beauty pageant were handpicked and shortlisted from thousands of aspirants who had registered for auditions that took place in the City recently. On the occasion, the 14 finalists showcased the Max’s latest AW ‘10 collections and showed their prowess with much glamour and extravagance. They set the ramp on fire with varied collections like quilted jackets, long and short tunics, multi-coloured tees, sweatshirts, tunic with contrast colours, chest printed chemise, round neck tunics, stretch tights, cotton lycra tights, slim fit denims, jeggings and many more.
Accessorised with the right pair of sandals, finger rings, neckpieces, belts and bracelets, the beauties walked on the ramp with confidence and comfort. The finalists are Riya Gupta, Shweta Kakkar, Kavitha Shah, Ranish Sangha, Priyanka Jatkar, Vanishri, Harlin Singh, Priyanka Diwan, Akhila Kishore, Deepika, Lakshmi Anand, Mamatha Bhandari, Anamika Choudhuri and Preethi.
Ranish Sangha, one of the participants, said that she is looking forward for the final contest. “I was nervous when I walked the ramp for the first time. My right attitude and perfect postures worked as winning factors for me. Now my eyes are on the final battle and for that, I am mentally prepared. I am hoping for the best and preparing for the worst,” said Ranish, who is studying for MBBS.
The winners of ‘Max Miss Bangalore’ will get an opportunity to take part in the Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week 2011 editions to be held in January.
