Suresh and Jayanti of Kurnool were on their way to Bangalore in their new car. The vehicle developed a glitch near the office of of Kolar-Chikkaballapur Milk Producers Federation.
Even as the driver was trying to check the fault with the vehicle, four men who arrived in a car threatened the couple with lethal weapons and snatched Rs 80,000 cash, 200 grams of jewellery from them. They even beat up the driver who resisted the robbery. The couple lodged a complaint at the Rural Police Station.
