After tying the knot at an intimate wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had their first reception in Bengaluru at The Leela Palace, amid tight security.
Private reception
The couple kept the reception private, with just family and close friends in attendance.
The venue was bathed in white and gold as they happen to be the couple’s favourite colours.
Even the organisers appeared in the similar hue.
The ravishing looking Deepika and Ranveer walked hand-in-hand with evident love and a glow on their faces.
Attractive dress
Deepika complemented Ranveer’s black and gold embroidered sherwani with her white and gold silk sari; the green-stoned jewellery and a pearl necklace completing her outfit for the evening.
As they posed for the media, the couple were seen bantering to maintain an easy atmosphere.
The quirky Ranveer was seen helping his bride adjust her sari on the stage even as Deepika beamed.
Though the guest list was not disclosed, our cameras captured Biocon chairman Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw and Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy at the event.
