Two men were arrested for allegedly abusing policemen using foul language on Saturday night.

Police said the accused are Murali of Andrahalli, a member of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike who had launched a television channel called 'Channel R' six months ago. Abhishek works as a reporter in the same channel.

After finishing Murali's birthday party in office, they came out in the Omni and parked it in the middle of the road and were dancing with loud music at midnight, police added. "Residents of the area called the police helpline. Cops who rushed to the spot, asked the duo to leave the place. Both refused. They told the police that the music would continue till morning. When police tried to switch off the music, duo stopped the police and abused them.
