Lights will be switched off for an hour between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm on Saturday to mark the Earth Hour.
The global campaign for environment protection has been initiated by the World Wide Fund (WWF) where power will be switched off for an hour to take pledge to reduce carbon footprint.
ING Vysya Bank which has launched an online game ‘switch off and save’ where the game challenges the player to switch off as many lights as possible in 30 seconds.
The Lalit Ashok will observe the Earth Hour, themed “I will if you will”, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The premises will be fully lit by candles, including the three restaurants- Baluchi, OKO and 24/7.
