The accused are Mammootty, Chandraiah, Vijay, Vishnu and Sunil. On a tip off, the police raided Sangeetha Cassette Centre in Jayanagar 9th Block in Tilaknagar police limits and Kanchan Computer Service and PC Services at Karthikeyan Mansion on SP Road in Halasuru Gate police limits and arrested the accused, said the police.
Rs 3 lakh stolen from car
Unidentified persons lifted a bag containing Rs 3 lakh cash from a car by breaking open the window panes on Tuesday at Indiranagar. B S Ravi Shankar of Basaveshwarnagar, who runs a used car business, had come to Indiranagar 100 feet road to buy a car.
He had kept the cash bag in the car and had gone to a nearby tea shop. He was shocked to see the window panes broken and the cash bag missing when he returned.
