Bengaluru: The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), which organised the Flat Mela on Saturday, was pleased with the turnout, finding 200 buyers in just one day. Approximately 600 people attended the mela, with 200 participants paying the initial deposit on the spot to receive their allotment letters.

Additionally, 50 individuals provided cheques and are scheduled to receive their allotment letters on Monday.

Officials noted that the flats are currently being sold at old rates, but prices for the remaining units will soon be revised.

Representatives from various banks were also present at the event.

BDA Finance Member Dr A. Lokesha, Chief Accountant Srinivasa Murthy, Deputy Secretary Krishnamurthy, Assistant Executive Engineers Imbavalli and Basava Reddy, along with other BDA officers, were in attendance at the Flat Mela.
