According to the police, Sudhakar would come to the city’s Madiwala market to buy flowers and used to go around and sell them in Southeast Bengaluru when he would identify techies’ houses where he could steal laptops and other gadgets. He then returned in the night and steal them either through windows or by opening the locks, the police said. Using this modus operandi, the accused had stolen around 49 laptops over the past three months. Police have also recovered the laptops along with several phones and 200 gm of gold ornaments from him.
