Former Karnataka Minister Laxman Savadi's nephew Shivakumar Savadi suffered knife injuries in an alleged attack by some unidentified miscreants here, police said today.
27-year old Shivakumar, who got engaged last month, was returning home in his car after dropping his fiancee last night when the miscreants waylaid the vehicle and atttacked him, police said.
He had been admitted to a private hospital where he is stated to be "out of danger", police soources told PTI.
"An attempt to murder case has been booked and we are sure to nab the miscreants soon", police said.
