The sleuths of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested four people including a woman at the KR Puram railway station on Friday on the charge of peddling ganja. Police have seized 41 kg of the narcotic substance worth Rs 10 lakh and Rs 47,670 in cash from them.

The arrested have been identified as Pathrudu (20) and Krupanand (22), who had brought the consignment by Sheshadri Express from Kakinada to deliver the drug to Prabha (40), and Tilak (22) in the city. All of them were arrested while exchanging the consignment.

According to the NCB officials,  Prabha and Tilak are notorious ganja dealers operating in the city. The seized material is suspected to have been sourced from Andhra-Odisha border. Prabha and Tilak used to sell it to street peddlers in the city, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

All the four were produced before a court, which remanded them in judicial custody, the officials added.
