Brinda, a UKG student at St Paul’s School, was trying to cross the road with her aunt when the accident occurred just 200 metres away from the school. Police said the driver Krishnamurthy had lost control of the vehicle and tried to apply sudden brakes when he saw the child crossing the road. However the auto toppled and Brinda got under its wheel. Her father works as a computer operator at Bangalore Turf Club.
