Students can often be spotted wearing happy colours and floral prints. The inspiration in many cases is the latest trend on the runway or a popular celebrity sporting an outfit.

Chandni

A first-year BSc student opted for a casual look. She wore a white quarter sleeve T-shirt from Rattrap and teamed it up with a pair of black leggings bought from the Tibetan Plaza and a casual footwear from Levis.

Leggings are very much in vogue. Available in different colours, designs and patterns, they can be teamed up with almost everything. Sometimes I wear a short tunic and team it up with a bright pair of leggings or I wear a kurti with a neutral-coloured leggings. There is so much that one can do with them.

Dhanya
A first-year BSc student, chose to wear an elegant skirt and a top, both designed by her, and accessorised it with a lot of funky jewellery from Commercial Street.

I like bright colours and try to stand out in the crowd. Beads are very much a part of college fashion, they go well with all kinds of clothes. As skirts never go out of fashion, I experiment with different kinds of skirts always.

Wasil Ahmad Bhat
A third-year civil engineering student of Acharya Institute of Technology, wore a black United Colours of Benetton T-shirt with beige Allen Solly chinos. With shades and Converse shoes to complement the look, he donned a semi-casual but smart look.

I believe in being stylish with comfort. The combination that I have worn gives a funky look that works well for college and also for unplanned outings.
