With roses and placards in their hands, the residents staged a demonstration at the BBMP main gate. They had staged a similar demonstration in September last year at the Palike office and the BBMP commissioner had assured them that he would look into the matter. However, nothing concrete happened since then.
The protesters alleged that the officials at zonal level are apathetic to their pleas. They held the ARO and the revenue inspector of Rajarajeshwari Nagar responsible for the delay.
