Gang stabs 18-year-old youth to death

An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death by a group of youngsters at Premanagar in Kamakshipalya on Tuesday.

Shravan Kumar (18), a resident of Premanagar, worked at a book store at Peenya. He is suspected to have been murdered over an old rivalry.

Sahil, the victim’s friend and a resident of Chowdeshwarinagar in Nandini Layout, took Kumar away from his house on Tuesday morning. Kumar was found murdered within half an hour of leaving home. As Sahil went absconding after the murder, the police suspect his involvement. The victim had fought with some youths in Chowdeshwarinagar about two months ago. This could have led to his murder, said the police.
