German roadshow, a success

The German National Tourist Office (GNTO) on Thursday concluded its roadshow in Bengaluru, receiving a good response from the travel trade wherein 10 German partners also participated.

The roadshow, apart from promoting Germany as a tourist and trade destination, helped the German partners understand the Indian market better. Some of the partners who had participated in the roadshow were representatives from Maritim Hotel, Baden Baden and Saxony. 

Romit Theophilus, Director, Sales and Marketing, GNTO, said “This year, a few new partners have come on board and GNTO looks forward to having a long association with them in the future.  Germany has witnessed 4,35,052 overnight sta ys from India during the period of January-August, 2014. It is sav ouring to know that the travel trade in Bangalore unde rstands and supports Germa- ny as a preferable destination.”
