The fourth annual edition of the Bangalore Pet show will be held on May 20 and 21 at the Manpho Convention centre (next to Manyata Tech Park) on the Outer Ring Road. Event director M Satya Narayan of Blue N White said this year, they are hoping some Indie breeds will join Mudhol hounds at the show.

He said they are keen on promoting pet adoption with a special drive, besides displaying a large collection of exotic birds, dogs, cats and aquarium fish. Event co-ordinator Ikram Khan said that for the first time in the city, an international feline conference and competition will also be held. “We have tied up with the Cat Fanciers’ Association of India to bring this feline convention and cat show to the city.”

Knowledge-based event
The feline convention will be a day-long knowledge-based event with seminars on cat diseases, pain management, grooming, etc, by international and national speakers. The show will also have pet quiz, free raffle draws, games for children, a flea market and food stalls. Entry tickets on the first day are priced at Rs 150 (early bird) and on Sunday it is Rs 200.
