The Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths arrested three persons and recovered Rs 33.57 lakh of hawala money, currency note counting machine and some documents.
The police acted on definite tips, raided Vikash Bangle Stores and Manoj Garments near Belli Basavanna temple at Mamulpet and arrested Devichand, 57, Goparam, 25, both residents of Akkipet, Ratandevasi, 18, Taragupet and Mukesh, 33, of Cubbonpet, said the police.
The suspects were collecting commission and transporting unaccounted money from one place to another. They were illegally transporting money over the last six months, added the police.
