The Bengaluru-based 'Shraddha Parents Association had moved the court against the enforcement of bandh in the state.

The applicant submitted that the bandh has resulted in the withdrawal of bus services that cause great inconvenience to the general public.

It also said stopping the KSRTC bus service would result in revenue loss to the state.

And so the state should take immediate steps to run its buses without supporting the bandh, it had contended.
