The Surana College recently organised a unique induction programme called Swagath 2010.
The day saw, Maya, the student’s cultural troupe, performing for the new students and welcoming them to the college. The event had the presence of over 200 new entrants and their parents. Swagath was held to impress upon the students and the parents the serious and valid inputs from the institution. The session saw the faculty briefing everyone on the additional curriculum of the college, which was indigenously framed. They also shared the teaching, learning and evaluation practices within the institution. On the day, the alumni shared their opinion on student support and progression available in the college and the best way to make use of the facilities available to the students.
There was a small presentation about governance and leadership of the college and the innovative practices of the institution.
