The petitioner, Mohan Kondajji, a film producer, who had won a national award for one of his films, was granted a site in the City in 2004. The site, which was allotted to him, was confirmed in 2005.
The petitioner submitted that despite the letter, the petitioner found out through the Right to Information Act (RTI) that the same land has been allotted to some other person and the sale deed was already executed.
Justice Mohan Shantanagowdar, who heard the matter, ordered notice to BDA.
