It was in 2010 that Sindhu Loknath made her debut in Sandalwood.  Three years on, the young, talented actress has proved herself in the roles that she has essayed.

With offers coming her way from Kannada, Tamil and Telugu industries, Sindhu has a lot going for her.

A number of Sindhu’s films are lined up for release like ‘Case Number 18/9’, ‘Coffee With My Wife’ and Nan Life Alli. Metrolife  recently caught up with the actress who shot to fame with Lifeu Ishtene.

After having completed three years in the industry, Sindhu says that she is choosy about the roles she picks.  The actress says that no one can force her to take up any role.    “I choose my films purely based on the character.

Depending on how strong my role is, I take it up. I never sign a movie for the hero or production house. All these are secondary matters. I never force myself to do anything,” she says.

She explains, “People should always remember me for what I do. Even if it is a small role, I must be confident of doing it. If I get a three-hour role but don’t feel confident about it, I won’t take it up.”

About the movies she has signed, she says, “I have signed a Kannada movie, tentatively called ‘Journey’, a remake of the Tamil movie Engeyum Eppothum, which is also being made in Telugu.”

Ask the actress about her success mantra and she says, “One should be happy and content. That is more important than name, fame and money.”

The actor reveals that she is not a ‘fitness freak’. “I eat healthy and do 30 minutes of cardio without fail. I am generally very active but I’m not into gymming and dieting. I just ensure that I include a lot of vegetable in my diet and drink a lot of water. Along with a positive attitude, this is what keeps me going,” she signs off.
