There was also a street play and a group of African students played music to attract crowds, after which short awareness videos were shown. In fact, on Tuesday morning, 300 People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIVs) associated with the NGO had a protest near Mahatma Gandhi statue, to stress the importance of nutrition for PLHIVs.

The NGO also put up their demands about access to age appropriate ART and quality health care, access to prevention of parent to child transmission (PPTCT) protocol, need for children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS to unrestricted right to inheritance, access to quality education and childhood free from stigma and discrimination.
