Infosys Foundation chairman Sudha Murthy presents a sketch of the upcoming metro station to Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara on Monday.

The Infosys Foundation will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BMRCL officials for building a metro station on Hosur Road near Electronic City.

The Foundation is funding the construction of Konappana Agrahara metro station on the RV Road-Bommasandra line (Reach 5). The cost of the project is estimated at Rs 175 crore. Infosys Foundation chairman Sudha Murty on Monday invited Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara, who also holds the portfolio of
Bengaluru Development, for the MoU signing ceremony scheduled on Thursday morning. She also presented the artistic representation of the upcoming metro station.

“Infosys has decided to fund the construction of a unique metro station and also maintain it at its cost for 30 years,” Sudha Murty said in
the letter inviting Parameshwara.
