The residents inaugurated approach road to their layout in the presence of local MLA Nandish Reddy on Thursday. “We had approached various government agencies to get an approach road. However, Janaspandana helped us reach the complaint to the officials concerned under one roof. Hence, a big thanks to Deccan Herald,” said Krishnamurthy, who has a house in the layout.
With over 80 plots, the layout was owned by HAL Sanitary Board. However, a private property owned by Hanumanthappa Reddy blocked the approach road to the layout causing lot of problems to the residents.
In spite of approaching various departments and even BEML, which has a barren plot behind the layout, the problem persisted.
After much persistence and the MLA’s intervention, the residents finally got an approach road.
