Bengaluru: The Karnataka Lokayukta police on Tuesday morning launched surprise raids against five government officers in the state in connection with the disproportionate assets (DA) cases.

This is the second raid held by the Lokayukta police in a week's time.

Among those raided today include N Venkatesh, Revenue Officer; and K Om Prakash, senior assistant horticulture director, both of whom work in Bengaluru.

Further details on the search and seizures are awaited.

In the raids last week, among others, the Lokayukta police had found Rs 9 crore worth of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income of IAS officer Vasanthi Amar.
