Ayub Sharif (32), a native of Chennai, was taken into custody from a courier agency at Sampangiramanagar while he was sending a carton of leather wallets with the contraband concealed in its false bottom to the UK, they said.
About three kg ketamine was recovered from the box, the officials said, adding that he had come to Bangalore for the purpose of sending the parcel.
