Chaos prevailed at the Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) office here on Tuesday due to delay in issuing the result sheets to schools.
The Board on Monday announced that the result sheets would be dispatched to the BEO offices within a day, but on Tuesday, students and parents had to wait anxiously as the schools had not got the result sheets till afternoon.
While the block education officers (BEOs) claimed that they were yet to get the result sheets, the board said that they were already sent, said Aslam Khan, a member of the Karnataka State Urdu SDMC Federation.
Sources in the KSEEB said the staff had sought more time to tabulate the results, but the results were hurriedly announced on May 12, which caused a lot of confusion, sources added.
