KSRTC to ply additional buses for Sankranti

The KSRTC has made arrangements for operating 500 extra buses in view of the Makara Sankranti festival from January 14 to 15.

Special buses will be operated from Bengaluru Kempegowda bus station to Dharmastala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Shringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupathi and other places.

Special buses from Mysuru Road satellite bus station will be exclusively operated towards Mysuru, Hunsur, Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar and Mercara routes. All premier special buses will be operated from the Shanthinagar BMTC bus stand to Madurai, Kumbakonam, Trichy, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and other places in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Special buses will be operated from Vijayanagara, JP Nagar, Jayanagar 4th Block and 9th Block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang (Rajajinagar), Malleswaram 18th Cross and Kengeri Satellite Town to Shivamogga, Davangere, Tirupathi, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kukke Subramanya, Dharmastala.

Special buses for passengers who have advance reservation will be operated from the Mysuru Road satellite bus station towards North-West (Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar) of Karnataka. Buses with no advance reservation will be operated from the Kempegowda bus station. Special buses for passengers with reservation will be operated from Sri Basaweshwara bus station (Peenya) towards North-East (Kalaburagi, Ballari, Raichur, Hosapete, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar and other places) of Karnataka.
