More than 90,000 people sought emergency shelter as the storm charged across the Pacific Ocean, disaster agencies said.

Unidentified persons razed a protion of compound wall of Kunigal Stud Farm, the oldest and perhaps the biggest stud farm in India.

The breach in compound wall is posing grave threat to the horses bred in the India’s number one stud farm (rated by Turf Authorities of India). The horses in the farm are disturbed due to a pack of stray dogs which managed to gain entry into the farm through the breach in compound wall that was erected in the 1960s, complained Ganesh, the administrative officer of the farm

He has lodged a complaint with Kunigal police on miscreants razing the compound wall.
Kunigal stud farm, spread over a sprawling 500 acres with 25 paddocks, is perhaps the only farm in the world being owned by the state. In 1992, the state government had leased out the farm to Vijay Mallya-’s URRB.
