Legal hurdles cleared for flying school

The State government has taken all necessary steps to safeguard the Government Flying Training School in Jakkur, Minister for Youth Services and Sports Affairs, M P Appachu Ranjan told the Legislative Council on Wednesday.

Replying to a call attention notice, the minister said the government has cleared all the legal hurdles for construction of compound wall for the school.

He said the government would soon take possession of the land and the school would start functioning again. The minister disclosed that an IAS officer has been appointed as director of the School. However, he didn’t set any deadline for reopening of the school.
