Maid found murdered near bush

A 32-year-old woman was found murdered in Mahadevapura police limits on Wednesday morning.

The body of Chitra Shekhar, 32, a resident of Kundalahalli, was found near a bush in Seetharamapalya.

Chitra was the second wife of Shekhar, a driver of earthmovers. They were married for ten years and have two daughters.

The couple were staying at Kundalahalli.

They hailed from Dankanikote in Tamil Nadu and settled in Bangalore. She used to work as maid at a private IT firm in Mahadevapura.

The police have found a towel near the body and there were marks on her neck.

Police say that the suspects might have strangulated her to death with the towel.
