A city court has issued notice to the RT Nagar police, asking them to file objections in connection with a anticipatory bail plea filed by Karthik Gowda, son of Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda.
Actor Maitreya Gowda has filed a case of cheating and sexual exploitation against him. The judge has adjourned the hearing to September 3.
Maitreya appeared before the court of the VIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on Saturday evening and gave her statement before the judge against Karthik, in connection with her complaint at the RT Nagar police station. She fell sick on Saturday evening and was admitted to a private hospital.
The police recorded statements of Maitreya on Thursday night about her complaint and sought evidences like phone conversations, photographs and related documents.
