The Kamakshipalya police arrested Ganesh who stabbed his neighbour Sarojamma in the neck on January 19 following an altercation at Hoysala Nagar in Sunkadakatte. Ganesh, 38, a native of Maddur, was absconding since.
Ganesh was living in a rented portion of a house belonging to Ravikumar for the past eight years. Sarojamma’s family was living in another portion for the past six months.
There were frequent quarrels between the two tenants and Ravikumar asked Ganesh to vacate the house.
Angry that Sarojamma had complained about him, Ganesh stabbed her to death, police said.
