The Vivek Nagar police arrested a man in connection with a murder.
The suspect Shivashankar (34), an auto driver, is a resident of Shamanna road. He reportedly murdered Syed Hussain, a cloth merchant, as the victim had an affair with the suspect's wife. On January 5, on being informed that his wife was talking to Hussain, Shivashankar rushed over, dragged Hussain to a nearby park and repeatedly kicked him in his groin. Hussain was shifted to hospital, where he succumbed to injuries.
