Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has announced traffic diversions and restrictions in the Kundalahalli and EPIP areas of Mahadevapura on Saturday to facilitate the 18th Midnight Marathon.

Organised by the Rotary Bangalore IT Corridor, the event will require the closure of key stretches for 14 hours, likely affecting commuters in the busy IT hub.

The restrictions will be in force from 3 pm on Saturday to 5 am on Sunday. Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly to avoid delays.

Roads under restriction

The left-side road from Ginger Hotel Junction near the Kundalahalli metro station on Kundalahalli Main Road to the ITPL Back Gate.

Alternative routes

For vehicles moving from Graphite India Junction towards Vaidehi Hospital/ITPL: Turn right near Ginger Hotel, Kundalahalli metro station. Continue on the right-side road until Axis Bank U-turn Junction. Take a mandatory left at Axis Bank U-turn Junction.

At Big Bazaar Junction: Turn left to proceed towards Hoodi. Turn right to proceed towards Hope Farm or Channasandra.

For BMTC buses and heavy goods vehicles travelling from Kundalahalli towards Vydehi: Continue straight to Graphite India Junction. Take a left at Sumadhura Nandanam Apartments. Take another left and continue straight to NetApp Junction. Turn right towards ITPL and Hope Farm.
