Traffic advisory issued ahead of 17th Midnight Marathon

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has announced traffic restrictions on parts of Kundalahalli Road on Saturday evening ahead of the 17th Midnight Marathon, organised by the Rotary Club of Bangalore and the IT corridor.

The marathon will be held on KTPO Road and EPIP Road.

Traffic restrictions will be in place from 3 pm on Saturday to 5 am on Sunday, affecting the stretch between Ginger Hotel Junction near the Kundalahalli metro station and the ITPL back gate.

Commuters can use alternative routes. Vehicles travelling from Graphite India Junction to ITPL can take a right turn at Ginger Hotel, proceed to the ITPL back gate, and continue towards Hoodi by turning left at Big Bazaar Junction.

Vehicles heading to Hope Farm can take a right turn at Shantiniketan. BMTC buses and heavy goods vehicles travelling from Kundalahalli to Vydehi should proceed straight from Graphite India Junction, take a left at Sumadura Nandana Apartment, head towards Net App Junction, and then turn right to reach ITPL and Hope Farm.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel to avoid inconvenience during the event.
