The Regional Passport Office, Bangalore located in Koramangala will not be open for enquiries from public, on Wednesdays from May 9.
Enquiries will continue as usual on other days.
However, cases pertaining to obtaining appointments either through tatkal or normal process can continue, by visiting the offices as usual on Wednesdays.
Regional Passport Office K J Srinivasa said the enquiry section would be closed on Wednesday to clear the backlog of applications that have accumulated at the office.
“The Passport Seva Kendras and the other services offered at the Passport office will continue,” he said.
