On Day 2, HDK's door-to-door campaign at Gavipuram

The JD-S’ efforts to create awareness regarding former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy’s ‘contribution’ to Bengaluru entered second day on Friday.

The campaign, managed by the party’s city unit, is held under the banner — “Mane Manege Kumaranna.”

On Thursday, Kumaras­wamy launched the door-to-door campaign near Annamma temple in Gandhi Nagar. On Friday, his father H D Deve Gowda inaugurated the campaign near Gavi Gangadareshwara temple in Gavipuram. The campaign will be held in parts of Yelahanka and Byatarayanapura on Sunday.

K V Narayanaswamy, city JD(S) working president, said every day each Assembly constituency is covered between 9 am and 1 pm and 3 pm and 7 pm. All the 28 Assembly segments would be covered in the city. The first round of the campaign would be completed on June 15. In the second round, again different parts of the constituencies would be covered.
