Of the eight allotted posts only three are in place, the rest have gone on deputation to other departments in the Palike.
The reporting staff is meant for recording proceedings of the council meetings. The reporters work on rotation for every 10 minutes. As per procedure every reporter takes notes of the proceedings for 10 minutes and leaves the hall to transfer the notes into text. There will about three meetings in a month.
