Devendrappa (45), was run over by a speeding car while he was trying to cross the Outer Ring Road at Mahadevarapura on late Tuesday night.
K R Puram Traffic police arrested the driver and seized the vehicle.
A mason, Devendrappa was a resident of Maheshwari Nagar. He was from Shahapura taluk, Yadgir district.
