The City police have roped in a ‘third party’ to help analyse the materials found on Islamic State (IS) Twitter handle Mehdi Masroor Biswas’s computer.
A top police source said, “There are a lot of analytics involved, so we will take the help of people who are good at the job. Several softwares will also be used to analyse Mehdi’s tweets and other materials.
People from within the department have already begun the job of translating materials in Arabic. Once they are done with the translation, we can get to know some more things.”
“We are yet to confirm if the accused has direct links with the IS and this can be confirmed after examining the direct messages sent by Mehdi,” added the source.
