Raghav-eshwara Bharathi has been asked to appear before the investigating officer on Thursday.
Officials of the CID said the pontiff had been summoned for questioning on Wednesday, but was later told to appear before the investigating officer on Thursday as a questionnaire was being prepared based on the complainant’s statement.
A mutt spokesperson said Bharathi was at the Mutt’s Girinagar branch and would appear before the CID on Thursday.
