He was speaking after inaugurating the silver jubilee celebrations of “Karnataka Janapada Parishat Mahostava” jointly organised by Karanataka Janapada Parishat and Kannada and Culture Department on Monday at Ravindra Kalakshetra.
There has been a proposal to form Janapada University sent by Karnataka Janapada Parishat president Dr G Narayanna, former VC Prof De Javare Gowda, Karnataka Janapada Academy president Go Ru Chennabasappa, Kannada Abhivruidhi Pradhikara president Mukhyamantri Chandru. "I will discuss this issue with my cabinet colleagues and come up with a decision shortly," he said. Colourful folk arts were on display, and also a folk exhibition was put up.
